Matt and I are busy as always. Matt with school and his countless jobs programing/panel building for the Space Center where he works. His school is taking up most of his time though. Which is to be expected when he's taking 16 credits and spends about 21 hrs a week in class and then does homework during his breaks.
For me, I just finished a painting job and have two quilting jobs waiting for me :). I'm loving the Pediatric side of my Mother/Baby Nursing class. And yes I am counting down the months/weeks/days until I graduate in September 2010. I'm also preparing for the NCLEX-PN (which is a national test I have to pass in order to get my LPN). And that has been interesting, I've had to reach back to the beginning of the year and things I learned in Fundamentals of Nursing back in January. I'm so glad that I started reviewing now!!
Last night we had a few friends over for FHE and had a lot of fun. We had a really good lesson about testimonies and the the power of a strong testimony and what we need to keep it that way. For our activity we made Squished Witch Cremes which is
1 c peanut butter
1/4-1 c powedered sugar
1/2 c sweetened condensed milk
1 c Chocolate Chips
then you just mix it up and enjoy! it's like an inside out Reese's. I liked them a lot, we'd joked about making a whole batch and then giving it to one of the couples that didn't make it. But we ended up just calling them about 12 times instead. It was funny. We were having a major high school flash back.
But it's back to studying for me!
