Playing Catch Up :)
Well we are moved! I'm still working on unpacking and organizing but it's getting there! I figure if I can unpack and organize 2-3 boxes a day, that it will all get done and I won't be killing myself trying to figure out everything and trying to keep Eric from getting into things. And so far it's working out great! It gives me time to enjoy being with my adorable son, and not stress about the boxes. And since he takes two naps a day that gives me time to take care of a box and clean without help!!
As far as the promised pictures go... Matt put the camera away so Eric couldn't get to it... and I don't remember where that is... So when he gets home I will have him help me with getting the pictures up on here so you can all see how much better the house looks now! Once the boxes are gone I'll take pictures of what it looks like with all our stuff in it :)
As far as surprises with the house go... We did find some little friends. The most numerous being the spiders. They are all named Earl. Earls 1-4 have been removed, I'm hoping that the traps we set for Earls 5-20 will catch the rest. Our other little friend is named Romeo. Romeo is a cute/nasty little mouse that I met one morning while making breakfast. Bray'tac thought he was a new toy and made sure to pounce just enough to scare the little guy but not enough to actually kill him *sigh*. Thankfully though, Matt and I went and got some traps set for him last night and he blissfully got caught under my kitchen sink. I for one am very grateful to have him out of my house!! I'm still leaving the rest of the traps we set for him up, just in case he wasn't the only Romeo in the house.
Other then that life has been great! I love the ward up here, I finally feel like I belong! Which has been great, because I never really felt like I fit in with the student wards we were in. Eric loves running around the circle from the living room to the kitchen and back and Matt loves playing with him and getting to act like a kid again. And I love just watching them bond and have fun with each other. I'm pretty sure that Eric is working on some molars right now. If he is, I hope they break through soon!!
But for now it's time for me to go unpack another box and get started on organizing some of my craft room. :) (hopefully Eric will keep sleeping a little bit longer so that I can get one box emptied down there!)

Time to sit... and pack!
Well it's finally here!! The house is all painted, the carpets will all be installed, the internet is installed, and I finally have a place of my own!!! When we first bought the house, I felt a little over-whelmed with everything that needed to be done to make the house a home and a safe place for my son to be. But thanks to all my amazing family and the support that they've given me, it's finally all done! Now things can sorta slow down a bit! I still have to get all moved in, but the time crunch for getting painting, cleaning, and ready to move in is gone!! And I feel like a huge weight is off my shoulders. Granted I still have a lot to do before everything is in working order, but soon I won't have to commute to get things done. Soon I'll be able to just work while my son sleeps (assuming I'm not sleeping too..) I'll get to work on organizing at night, and I get to sleep in an Air Conditioned house!!!! YAY!!!!!! I really can't wait to not wake up sweating at night! or just being HOT all day!!
But I'm off to bed, and will post pictures of the completed/not yet moved into house soon!!

Can it be next week... It needs to be next week...
Well the house is starting to look amazing! We just have to finish painting the trim and the ceilings. I'm so excited to be done painting!! I knew it was going to take a while to get the whole house painted and up to livable condition, but man I'm so drained!! Thankfully I've been blessed with a wonderful family who has been more then willing to help me at every turn in getting this house ready to be a home! Today I'm going up to sweep and paint the trim downstairs so that it will be completely ready for new carpet. I'm hoping tomorrow I will be able to get the upstairs cleaned out and the trim painted up there so it can be mostly ready for the carpet as well. Then all that will be left will be one massive day of sanding and painting of the ceilings on Saturday. Sadly Matt will be at drill, which will mean a lot of phone calls for me. But hopefully it will all get done so Tuesday the carpet can be installed and we can move in!! Fingers are crossed!!!!
